The DANUBE PEACE Network is a cross-border community of adult educators, cultural and heritage actors, and community leaders working together to advance peacebuilding across the Danube region.

Bringing together partners and stakeholders from Germany, Czechia, Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia, the Network will connect six local hubs into one regional peacebuilding community — creating a space for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and mutual support long after the project ends.

What to expect on this page:

  • The DANUBE PEACE Network Guide – a practical resource for setting up, growing, and sustaining peacebuilding networks, including guidance on funding and long-term support
  • Local Networks – six national networks connecting educators, cultural actors, and community members across partner countries
  • DANUBE PEACE Action Plans – tailored, community-developed action plans addressing the specific peacebuilding priorities of each region
  • Training Opportunities – information on regional training events and the international training in Berlin, equipping participants with peacebuilding methodologies and tools
  • Network Community Space – a digital hub for connecting with peers across the region

This page will be updated progressively as the Network takes shape, starting with the establishment of local networks in early 2027 and culminating in a fully connected regional community by the project’s end in October 2027.
