Spanning 14 countries and home to over 115 million people, the Danube has historically served as a bridge between Eastern and Western Europe \u2014 a shared thread of culture, heritage, and cooperation running through diverse communities. Yet the region also faces real challenges: historical divides, socio-economic disparities, and, most urgently, the impact of the war in Ukraine.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" dir=\"ltr\">DANUBE PEACE is a two-year Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership (2025\u20132027) that responds to these challenges by strengthening adult educators through intergenerational and inclusive peace education rooted in Danube heritage and EU values.
