Knowledge \u2013 njema\u010dkom partneru projekta DANUBE PEACE \u2013 priliku da testira glavne nalaze Radnog paketa 2 u odnosu na utvr\u0111eni primjer prekograni\u010dne kulturne saradnje. Vje\u017eba je osmi\u0161ljena kao terenska validacija, a ne kao izvje\u0161tavanje o doga\u0111aju: dokazi prikupljeni putem istra\u017eivanja i stru\u010dnog intervjua sa Sebastianom Rihmom, direktorom Donaub\u00fcro Ulm\/Neu-Ulm, upore\u0111eni su s direktnim posmatranjem otvaranja Festivala, institucionalnih partnerstava, aktivnosti za mlade, javnog programa i kori\u0161tenja zajedni\u010dkog kulturnog prostora.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Ceremonija otvaranja pru\u017eila je najjasniji dokaz da je funkcija izgradnje mira Festivala bila eksplicitna, a ne slu\u010dajna. Gradona\u010delnici Ulma i Neu-Ulma, Martin Ansbacher i Katrin Albsteiger, zapo\u010deli su minutom \u0161utnje za ljude koji ne mogu \u017eivjeti u miru i potvrdili solidarnost sa \u201cslobodnom i samoopredjeljenom Ukrajinom\u201d. Ova politi\u010dka obaveza dobila je neposredno ljudsko prisustvo kroz \u017eivu vezu s Alexom u Harkovu, koji se obratio publici i izveo Lennonovu pjesmu. <em>Zamislite<\/em>. Intervencija je povezala javnost okupljenu na Dunavu s osobom koja je u\u010destvovala iz grada koji je \u017eivio u direktnim ratnim uslovima. Ukrajina je stoga bila prisutna ne samo kao subjekt solidarnosti koju su izrazili evropski predstavnici, ve\u0107 i kroz glas i umjetni\u010dko djelovanje nekoga ko je govorio iz samog Harkiva. Simboli\u010dno otvaranje na rijeci, uz pratnju evropske himne, posljedi\u010dno je uokvirilo Dunav kao zajedni\u010dki evropski javni prostor u kojem se spajaju politi\u010dka posve\u0107enost, kulturni izraz i direktna transnacionalna veza.
